If you want to buy fabric, here is some practical information:

I recommend you use the quality; Liberty - Tana lawn, which you can find HERE or as pieces of fabric HERE It is clearly the best to fold stars with as the fabric is thin and tightly woven.

You can also find a complete kit in assorted colors HERE .

5 stars using fabric pieces "Ninth"

4 fabric strips are used for one star. With 5 pieces of fabric in the size "Ninth" you can make 5 stars. For each "Ninth" 5 fabric strips can be made and it gives 1.1/4 star. With 5 different pieces of "Ninth" you then get 20 strips of fabric which gives you a total of 5 stars. Cutting instructions are included in the instructions.

16 stars using 32 cm x full fabric width:

4 fabric strips are used for one star. You need 32 cm of 4 different prints, for each 32 cm 16 fabric strips can be made, it gives 4 stars. With 4 different prints of 30 cm, you get 64 strips, which gives a total of 16 stars. Cutting instructions are included in the instructions. PS! if you put 30 cm in the basket, I always cut a few more cm, so you have the 32 cm when you buy 30 cm ;)

Star measures approx. 9 cm in diameter.

The braided poinsettias in Liberty fabric are super decorative - I use them both on the Christmas tree and as decoration in windows. I also have them hanging on a troll branch which is in a vase.
