Pattern-free tiered skirt with elastic waist in LIBERTY FABRIC: (patterned fabric)

Or in Muslin (plain fabric)

The Mary skirt is clearly the most popular skirt I've sewn, and the best part is that it's super simple and easy to make.

Material consumption:

Fabric consumption for a skirt with a length of approx. 90 cm (floor length).

If you want the skirt to be longer or shorter, adjust the height of the tracks (H). Please note that required substance consumption, if applicable, is changed. (Must be calculated yourself)

Here you can see how fabric consumption for a length of 90 cm is calculated. The starting point here is Liberty tana lawn, which has a fabric width of 136 cm

For hip measurement 98 cm or less - circumference at the widest point of your hip.

Top lane H 30 cm x 1 (full fabric width)

Middle lane H 30 x 1 (full fabric width)

Bottom lane H 40 cm x 2 (full fabric width)

Fabric consumption: = 140 cm Liberty tana lawn or Liberty Eco

By hip measurement  99 cm or more - circumference at the widest point of your hips.

Upper lane H 30 cm x 1

Middle lane H 30 x 2

Bottom lane H 40 cm x 2

Substance consumption:  = 170 cm Liberty tana lawn or Liberty Eco

Measurements include 1 cm seam allowance

Elastic band 2.5 cm wide - Could be THIS one

You find the length of the elastic by measuring your waist where you want the skirt to sit - and subtracting 4-5 cm.

You can also choose to make the beautiful skirt in the solid color Muslin

Pattern-free tiered skirt with extra width in MUSLIN FABRIC:

Upper lane H 35 cm x 1

Middle lane H 32 x 2

Bottom lane H 42 cm x 3

Substance consumption:  = 230 cm Muslin

Elastic band 3.5 cm wide - Could be THIS one

You find the length of the elastic by measuring your waist where you want the skirt to sit - and subtracting 4-5 cm. This calculation is made as "one size" and it is then only your elastic length that makes up the size.
